Fez – Being Born
"Fez – Being Born" is a song by Irish rock band U2 and the eighth track on their 2009 album ''No Line on the Horizon''. The group originally planned for the song to be sequenced as the opening track of the album, but they instead chose "No Line on the Horizon". During the recording sessions, "Fez – Being Born" had several different titles, including "Chromium Chords" and "Tripoli", and was the result of a fusion of two different songs. Writing and recording "Fez – Being Born" was first developed in the ''No Line on the Horizon'' recording sessions with producer Rick Rubin in 2006. The symphonic guitar sound from the experimental "Fez" piece, the opening minute of the song, was created by guitarist the Edge during the recording of "The Saints Are Coming" with Green Day. Secret Machines are an American alternative rock band, originally from Dallas, Texas, United States, before moving to New York City. Saïd Taghmaoui (; born 19 July 1973) is a French actor. One of his major screen roles was that of Saïd in the 1995 French film '' La Haine'', directed by Mathieu Kassovitz. Linear (film)
''Linear'' is a 2009 film directed by Anton Corbijn. The film includes music from U2's 2009 studio album, ''No Line on the Horizon'', and was included on both digital and DVD formats with several editions of the album. Development The idea behind the film originated from a U2 video shoot in June 2007. During the shoot, Corbijn asked the band to remain still while he filmed them; this created a "photograph on the film", in which U2 did not move but the objects around them did. Impressed, the band believed that the listening experience could be enhanced with visuals, and in May 2008 they commissioned Corbijn to create the film. U2 360° Tour
The U2 360° Tour was a worldwide concert tour by the Irish rock music, rock band U2. Staged in support of the group's 2009 album ''No Line on the Horizon'', the tour visited stadiums from 2009 through 2011. The concerts featured the band playing "Theatre in the round, in the round" on a circular stage, allowing the audience to surround them on all sides.
